Il prossimo 1 novembre alla 45^ edizione della New York City Marathon ci saranno anche il maratoneta azzurro Daniele Meucci del Centro Sportivo Esercito, Campione Europeo di maratona e ottavo agli ultimi mondiali di Pechino, i keniani Wilson Kipsang, Stanley Biwott e Geoffrey Kamworor e gli etiopi Lelisa Desisa, Yemane Tsegaye e Gebre Gebremariam.
